Pools and Splash Play Areas
The City of Tempe is home to three public pools, one splash playground and three neighborhood splash pads. Public pools include the indoor wave pool at Kiwanis Recreation Center, and the outdoor pools at Escalante Multi-Generational Center and McClintock High School. There are three neighborhood splash pads located at Esquer, Hudson and Jaycee parks. Tempe's newest splash playground, the Cloud, is located at Kiwanis Park.

McClintock Outdoor Pool

The McClintock Pool is a seasonal, outdoor pool featuring lap swimming lanes, diving boards, water slides and a splash play area. It is open for morning lap swim and evening open swim. This outdoor pool is located on the east side of McClintock High School.

The Escalante pool is a seasonal, outdoor pool featuring lap swimming lanes, water slides, splash play features and zero depth entry. This outdoor pool is located at the Escalante Multi-generational Center.
All Splash Play areas are seasonal and are open daily April through October from 8 a.m.-10 p.m..
